Trauma Therapy (PTSD & C-PTSD)

Healing is not about erasing the past, but about reclaiming your capacity to live fully in the present.

Understanding Trauma

Trauma isn't just what happened to you; it's what happened inside you as a result of what happened to you. Whether it was a single event or a lifetime of accumulated stress (Complex PTSD), trauma can leave you feeling stuck in survival mode—always on guard, easily overwhelmed, or numb and disconnected.

You might find yourself reacting intensely to small triggers, struggling to trust others, or feeling like you're broken. I want you to know: these are normal responses to abnormal events. You are not broken.

My Approach to Healing

Safety First

We move at your pace. Establishing a sense of safety and stability is the foundation of all trauma work. We never push past what your system is ready for.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

We work with the "parts" of you that carry the trauma and the parts that protect you, fostering internal trust and unburdening the pain of the past.

Somatic Awareness

Trauma lives in the body. We'll gently explore how your body holds these experiences and learn tools to regulate your nervous system.

A Path Forward

Recovery is possible. You can find your way back to a sense of safety, connection, and aliveness.
